Maximilian von Arx was never one to settle for half measures. As a child, he dreamed of becoming a sailor and conquering the world's oceans. He later swapped this idea for the dream of an ice hockey career - a passion that stayed with him into his early twenties. But life eventually steered him in a completely different direction: marketing. A world that has captivated him ever since, because it is as versatile and dynamic as he is.
For him, marketing is not just about the perfect interplay of trends, timing and understanding target groups, but above all about one thing: reaching people. This ability to create connections runs like a thread through Maximilian's life - whether on the ice, as a team player, or today as the founder of his own marketing agency.
A turning point - the first female employee
A formative moment in his entrepreneurial journey was when he hired his first employee. "It touched me deeply," Maximilian recalls. "Someone wanted to share my vision and actively work towards it." For him, this was not only a business milestone, but also a personal affirmation: People are at the heart of his work. It is precisely this attitude that still characterizes his agency today. Maximilian believes that success can only be achieved if the needs of everyone involved are taken seriously. The customers are just as important
Maximilian finds balance in squash
is just as important as the employees. For him, work-life balance is a lived practice. Issues such as a 4-day week or workation are a matter of course for him. And so his agency is his agency is not only about creating fantastic campaigns - such as the first major campaign, in which he was able to prevail as an "underdog" against well-known competitors - but also about creating space for balance and fulfillment. fulfillment. Growth does not have to be the ultimate goal, rather the company should be coherent in itself
Maximilian is not available on Thursdays

This focus on balance is also reflected in Maximilian's personal life.ider. While many entrepreneurs are available around the clock, there are clear exceptions for him: Thursday evenings, for example. He has been meeting his friends for squash on this day for years - a ritual that is firmly anchored in his weekly schedule. "It's my time to switch off, recharge my batteries and refocus," he says. This time out helps him to be present both professionally and privately.
The new role as a father - and its magic
This presence has been particularly important to Maximilian since he became a father. For him, there was never any question as to whether he wanted children, it was just a question of when the right time would be. The days when he is alone with his child are some of the most precious moments for him. "There is nothing more meaningful than being a father," he explains.
This desire to create something meaningful and support others also characterizes Maximilian's everyday professional life. He used to volunteer and work for a foundation. He loves helping people to realize their dreams. "There's nothing more frustrating than watching someone just talk and talk about their dream without ever taking action," he says. Maximilian then feels almost "forced" to make a difference - not out of a sense of duty, but out of enthusiasm. Because nothing inspires him more than seeing how others can make their dreams come true. He himself has learned everything he knows today through his own experience, without a mentor at his side. He wants to pass this knowledge on, be it to friends, customers or other members of our community in the coworking space.
A place of connection - zentroom
This is precisely why Maximilian feels so at home in the zentroom zum Coworken. Here he has found a place that fits his philosophy: Connecting people, inspiring them and learning from each other. "The energy here is something special," he says. The exchange with other visionaries who are turning their ideas into reality is both inspiring and enriching for him. At the same time, the community gives him the opportunity to pass on his own knowledge and experience - a cycle that fulfills him.
For Maximilian, the coworking space zentroom is both a workplace and a place that helps him to combine all of his roles: Entrepreneur, father, visionary and mentor. It is a space that embodies for him what he himself values so much: Inspiration, growth and meeting at eye level.
With his passion, curiosity and humanity, Maximilian is an inspiring part of our community and a living example of how work and life can be harmonized - with balance, heart and a clear view of what really matters.
